In East Croydon Box Park, you will find a host of food outlets that cater for probably every person’s pallet regardless of intricacies of nutritional preferences, specific diets, seasonal options, fussy eaters and of course those with intolerances.
I am pleased that there are several vegan establishments that have left a very good 'taste' in my mouth.
On Wednesday on route to Victoria station (where the food options are dyer). I popped into 'What The Pitta' and grabbed a fully loaded vegan doner kebab.
The 'meat' substitute is made from soya but it tastes like a beautifully seasoned very tender version of lamb.
According to the website:

Despite the occasional comments from passersby who have been heard to remark, “What the f*ck is a Vegan Döner!?”
What The Pitta has fast become a cult favourite and has gone on to feed the likes of JME (UK Grime Artist), The Happy Pear (Vegan Chefs), FatGayVegan (Blogger) and Timothy Sheiff (Professional Free Runner).
I personally loved it, was full to the brim after I ate it, it was fresh, full of flavour and convenient to eat on the go.
